About me

Hi, I'm Rachel, the creator and crocheter behind Dean St Bags. My crafting journey began about four years ago as an avid knitter, but I discovered the art of crochet while living at my former home on Dean St. It was there that I fell in love with the freedom of trial-and-error that crochet offers, as well as the joy of working with recycled cotton and luxurious materials like satin. My partner probably appreciates the break from wool fibres everywhere after all the knitted mohair sweaters!

With a mostly neutral wardrobe and the occasional colourful accessory, my bags have become my creative outlet for exploring colour and playfulness.
